All new weapons in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom
New fusion weapons
The highlight of the new Tears of the Kingdom weapon system is most definitely going to be the brand new fusion system. Fusion allows players to merge two materials, weapons, or other miscellaneous items together for a very unique system that allows for player freedom. Approach combat in whatever way you like, with your imagination left free to make whatever combination on the fly.
Flaming Dragon Head
The Flaming Dragon Head is a Tears of the Kingdom weapon that flew under everyone’s radar, because it was only shown for a brief moment in the first trailer. Link was seen fighting a worm-like monstrosity with what appears to be a flamethrower with the head of a dragon attached to his left arm.
This weapon is probably powered by whatever power now resides within Link’s arm, and we’re excited to see if it has any other modes. It would be cool to have a dragon-headed spray weapon that can spew flames, shoot frost, and fire projectiles!
Broken Master Sword
It’s no longer a secret that the Master Sword will definitely be broken during the events of Tears of the Kingdom. Whether at the start of the story or in the middle, Link will probably have to find some way to either repair it or use the new powers it allows for. Perhaps the weapon fusion system is powered by the Master Sword itself. It’s also possible that we simply have to repair the Master Sword to its former glory, or channel the last remaining bits of its energy for a final hurrah.

Regardless, out of the new Tears of the Kingdom weapons, the Master Sword will play a central role, and we can’t wait to see what Nintendo does with it.
Bomb Launcher
The bomb launcher is another Tears of the Kingdom weapon we only briefly see during the second trailer. Link is seen performing a frontflip and lobbing one of his signature bombs at a Luminous Stone Talus. We’re sure this weapon has way more functions than the trailer let on, and we’re excited to see all of them implemented!
Those are all the confirmed new weapons we know for Tears of the Kingdom. While you’re here, be sure to check out whether the game has dungeons, as well as how long it may take to beat.
