While Half-Life 3 continues to be a distant dream, Half-Life: Alyx was a worthy installment in this on-again-off-again franchise. Alyx launched for PC VR back in March 2020 and now, it looks like it could be coming to the PlayStation VR2.
Rumours are circulating that Sony and Valve managed to strike a deal to get the VR-exclusive game to Sony's next headset, which saw further reveals at CES 2022 this week. So naturally, fans are excited. Nick Baker, who's been a semi-reliable PlayStation insider, has claimed Sony and Valve have already struck a deal to bring Alyx over.

Half-Life: Alyx Reportedly Coming to PSVR2
Joking that he thought this was an open secret, as usual, fans need to take this news with a big pinch of salt. However, the possibility of having another Half-Life game on a PlayStation system certainly sounds appealing.
Half-Life hasn't been seen on PlayStation since The Orange Box came out for PS3, giving fans Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode 1, Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Portal, and Team Fortress 2. PS2 owners also received a port of the original Half-Life. Are we really getting Half-Life: Alyx on PSVR2? For now, we'll have to wait and see.
