Most of Halo Infinite's multiplayer weapons pack a major punch, with the Disruptor being one of them.
The small, but effective firearm is capable of dealing shockwave damage, making it just as impactful as the Plasma Pistol.

Halo Infinite: How To Use The Disruptor
The Disruptor is an automatic pistol, capable of holding 10 bullets. Each shot inflicts certain damage on your enemies and removes a certain amount of health over time due to its shock effect. However, you need to hit 6 or so shots to actually kill an enemy over time with the Disruptor, making it a tough one to use as a primary source of Spartan-killing firepower.
Rather, you'd want to use the Disruptor against any vehicles. Shooting the pistol at a range of automobiles will inflict shock on them - enough bullets shot (around 6-8) and you'll fully EMP the enemy's vehicles. This will stop them in their tracks, giving you enough time to hijack them GTA-style.
With its damage being minimal against Spartans themselves until you get 6 or so shots off (with slow damage-dealing too), we'd recommend having the Disruptor ready in Big Team Battles. This is because there are more automobiles roaming around, making it the perfect playground for EMP-ing. Complement the sidearm with a powerful main weapon like the S7 Sniper Rifle or the Bulldog CQS48.
While the Disruptor isn't as effective against enemies, you can use the gun to reduce the onslaught of vehicular attacks. If you're unsure how ranking works check out our ranking system breakdown, followed by the best ways to gain XP quickly.
