Halo Infinite players will have a longer wait for the co-op campaign, as 343 Industries announced that's been delayed once more. Confirmed on the Halo Waypoint blog, 343 revealed its still working hard on the mode and hope to release it later in Season 2’s life.
Addressing this issue, 343 Industries re-affirmed its commitment to making a good co-op experience but cited difficulties in making a split-screen multiplayer mode with an open-world to explore, Making this work across both Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S was also discussed, though the developer states its making good progress.
Halo Infinite Co-Op Campaign Gets Delayed Once More
Beyond the co-op campaign, 343 Industries also confirmed progress on the anticipated Forge Mode, saying they’re working with content creators to get it right. Season 2's launching in May but unsurprisingly, 343 also advised about Season 3, telling us they're working hard to deliver more content for players.
Halo Infinite is now available on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. Season 2 of Halo Infinite, titled “Lone Wolves,” will be coming out on May 3, 2022. We'll keep you updated as we learn more.
