What to Expect From Halo Infinite Season 2
There'll be all manner of new stuff to focus on when Season 2 finally releases. After such a long first season, we'll undoubtedly be seeing a lot of changes to the game.
New Maps
We should be seeing new Halo Infinite maps coming in Season 2. We'll let you know when new information comes to light, but at the moment we have the leaked maps' names:
- Bath Salts
- Cataract
- Forbidden
- Beltway
- Solitude
We don't have full intel on them, but keep an eye out - we'll have all the new Halo Infinite map callouts when they're available!
New Game Modes
In a brief snippet posted on April 21, we got a look at three game modes that'll arrive in Halo Infinite Season 2. These are as follows:
- King of the Hill
- Landgrab
- Last Spartan Standing
On top of the much-anticipated return of King of the Hill, we'll also get to play Landgrab, functioning like a scaled-down version of Conquest mode in Battlefield. The most exciting addition is Last Spartan Standing, a full-fledged battle royale mode. With only one life and a drastically shrinking map, it's a battle that only one person can win - and is sure to breathe new life into Halo Infinite.
Season 2 Battle Pass and Rewards
When Season 2 comes out, we'll undoubtedly receive a brand new Battle Pass for Halo Infinite. While the rewards aren't known just yet, it's highly likely that leakers will get their hands on some ideas before May rolls around.
Also remember: you don't have to rush to finish the Season 1 Heroes of Reach Battle Pass before the next season launches! You can choose to progress either rewards track as and when you spot things you fancy unlocking.
We'll also be seeing credits offered as Battle Pass rewards for the first time! 343 Industries' Head of Design Jerry Hook has announced that you'll be able to earn credits as part of your normal Halo Infinite progression.
Co-Op Campaign
The cooperative campaign is finally going to arrive in Season 2! That means you'll be able to go through the gorgeous open world of Zeta Halo with friends in tow, which is a real treat for those of you who just fancied a bit more action in the campaign.
If you're looking for a bit of help, our Halo Infinite campaign collectables map should be a really handy addition to your knowledge of the map.
