Halo Infinite recently experienced another server outage, causing many fans to wonder whether their XP boosts would be reimbursed. But, it doesn't seem like this is the case.
Through an email by Halo Support (via PCGamesN), 343 Industries has stated that they do not have the ability to refund any lost XP boosts during downtime.

Halo Infinite's XP Boosts Will Not Be Reimbursed Following Server Outage
The email specifies that 343 Industries is unable to replace XP boosts used up during server downtimes:
While we do not have the ability to give or replace the XP boosts you've lost during the server outage, we want to inform you that access to Halo Infinite servers is now restored. If you are still having trouble getting into matches, please restart the game and try again.
XP boosts work differently in Halo Infinite, as the assets work in real-time. Once these perks are initiated, you'll have a certain amount of time to take advantage of the boosts by playing matches and games.
Given the simultaneous nature of these facets, it's clear why this may be a problem for fans as the boosts are used up even while servers are down.
Many are hoping 343 Industries amends these extras, similar to how XP gains were improved recently. We'll update this page if there are any changes to the story.
