The Halo series from Paramount+ has set a record, becoming the most-viewed program on the streaming service. According to Deadline, this new record from Paramount’s Halo series has dethroned 1883, the Yellowstone prequel that previously held this accomplishment.
While no actual viewer numbers were released, it’s worth noting that 1883 premiered with 4.9 million views so Halo likely broke the 5 million viewing barrier. It's worth noting that Halo was renewed for a second season, so all seems well thus far.
Halo TV Series Becomes Most-Viewed Paramount+ Show
Here’s what chief programming officer, Tanya Giles, had to say:
“Bringing Halo to life as a streaming series has been one of the most rewarding efforts for Paramount+ to date and we could not be more thrilled at the massive fan response to the series’ debut. Along with our phenomenal partners at Showtime, 343 Industries, and Amblin Television, we cannot wait for fans to experience more of this incredible universe.”
Paramount’s Halo series just released its first episode, with the rest coming out on a weekly basis. Xbox fans itching for some Halo action can play Halo: The Master Chief Collection or Halo: Infinite right now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
