Finally, it appears we will be getting a good James Bond game for current-gen consoles. Announced as 'Project 007' in 2020, 007 First Light is coming our way from the makers of the Hitman franchise, IO Interactive.
The game is an origin story made in collaboration with MGM, EON Productions, and Delphi. Featuring a young Bond as he earns his Double-O status and embarks on missions around the world, 007 First Light looks to use all the lessons IOI learned making the new Hitman trilogy and apply them to James Bond.

007 First Light is scheduled for release in 2026. It will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
Sadly, last-generation consoles (PS4, Xbox One, Original Switch) will not be able to play Bond's latest adventure.

Is 007 First Light Coming To Nintendo Switch 2?
Yes, 007 First Light is coming to Nintendo Switch 2.
IOI confirmed that the game will indeed be available at launch on Nintendo's latest console.
Is 007 First Light First-Person or Third-Person?
It appears that 007 First Light will be primarily played from a third-person perspective.
However, there may be specific sequences where you can switch to a first-person view. We will update this section as soon as the information becomes available.

There has been no confirmation of 007 First Light coming to Xbox Game Pass at launch.
Given that the game was revealed at the PlayStation State of Play, it is unlikely that Xbox Game Pass will see the game day one. However, should this change, we will update accordingly.
Are There Drivable Vehicles In 007 First Light?
Yes. In the trailer, you can see sections where you have to drive a car during chase sequences, and on the official website, IOI confirms you will be able to use multiple vehicles during the campaign.

Expect several editions to be released, both in offline retail and digital storefronts, each accompanied by a range of goodies for players to redeem. Additionally, pre-order bonuses are likely to be available ahead of the game's release.
Is There A 007 First Light Demo?
No, IO Interactive has not announced a demo for 007 First Light.
Fear not, for those needing a Bond fix now, IOI has added a special 007 mission to Hitman World of Assassination that tasks Agent 47 with taking out Le Chiffre from 2006's Casino Royale.
Playing the mission unlocks a special reward in 007 First Light if you have an IOI account linked to the game.
