Are you ready to yell objection at the top of your lungs? You'd better be because the Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy is basically among us, a new compilation of old games by Capcom. Let's dive into everything you need to know about this new trilogy.

This second trilogy follows the initial Ace Attorney trilogy, released by Capcom in 2019 which presented the first three titles of this exciting series, remastered and cleaned up for the occasion. We are still waiting on news about Ace Attorney 7, as well.

Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy release date

The Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy will be released on January 24, 2024, so there's not long to go. The game was announced in June of 2023, so we did not have to wait long, luckily, to get our hands on this new exciting package.

The trilogy will contain three games in the Ace Attorney series, they are:

  • Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney
  • Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Dual Destinies
  • Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Spirit of Justice

The trilogy will also contain two special episode DLCs, bringing the total up to sixteen episodes to play.

So far, we know that this new trilogy will be released on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One. We are pretty sure that Capcom is also planning to release the game also on current-gen platforms but, so far, we don't have any specific news on that.

The announcement trailer for the Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney trilogy was published in June of 2023 by Capcom.

The video showcases the new art which follows the games, so there is a straightforward 2D game plus the two other games featuring 3D models, which have been cleaned up and now look much better than before.

Capcom is bringing some new special content, along with the remastering of the original Nintendo DS and 3DS games.

This the list of new content:

  • Orchestra Hall - you can listen to the new orchestral arrangements or the original background music.
  • Library - you can view illustrations, design specs, commissioned pieces, and also the Spirit of Justice Prologue anime.
  • Animation Studio - you can put characters in various scenes and make them pose around, for funny and exciting screenshots.

Also, the games will be available in several languages so you can also play with the original Japanese audio and English texts, if you so desire.
