Servers should begin patching at 3 AM PST, and last around three hours. Once 6 AM PST rolls around, players should patch their clients. Once this happens, players will have access to the new content.
League of Legends 12.18 patch notes
As for the actual patch notes for the new patch, we don't have the exact details around it yet. Those won't drop until a few days before the patch actually goes live. But we do have some general information about changes. This is the final patch before the World Championships, so the devs don't want to make any massive changes.
Thanks to Riot Phroxzon over on Twitter, we know which champions are going to be changed.
Here are the champs that are getting changed.

League of Legends patch 12.18 skins
As for the skins that we have a solid line up of skins being introduced that are quite fitting for the time of year. These skins are all spooky themed, which makes sense. Here's the champs getting new skins for Fright Night.
- Nautilus
- Renata Glasc
- Annie
- Sylas
- Draven
- Urgot
- Trundle
On top of that we are also going to be getting the Worlds 2022 skin, which is for Azir. We typically see these skins every year, and they also have the same kind of color scheme. Either way, this skin looks great. We don't have a price for this yet, but we'd expect it to cost 1350 RP.
And that's all that we have for you! Hopefully this patch doesn't change too much for Worlds, but it should still be a fun worlds to watch nonetheless.
