Legends of Runeterra 3.14 patch notes are finally out in the open. Dropping mere days after the end of the Legends of Runeterra Star Guardian event line, the new Awakened chapter - the first of The Darkin Saga - is set to turn the bright memories of the last few weeks into distant, dark recollections. Here's what we know.
Introducing five new champions, a new card type, a bunch of new/revised keywords and vocabs, and the usual host of new skins and cosmetic flairs through a new event pass, there's a lot to see, and even more to look at ahead of the next patch as well.
For more Legends of Runeterra content, click that little blue link in the first paragraph. For previous patch notes (in case you've fallen behind) we have the LoR 3.12 patch notes and LoR 3.11 patch notes still up.
When is the LoR 3.14 release date?
Currently, the LoR 3.14 release date is set for August 31 at around 11am PT. This is an approximation on Riot's part and generally depends on how server maintenance goes on the day.

Ranked ladder adjustments
We’re updating Ranked Play to have more satisfying progression. Ladder Point changes for winning and losing have been adjusted at each rank, with the largest changes in the lower leagues: Iron, Bronze, Silver, and Gold.
Card adjustments
Aside from the Void Abomination become a sligthly higher-tier card in terms of cost and strength, the other other card adjustments made this time relate to added some pre-existing ones to the new Flow mechanic.
- Void Abomination
- Cost increased from 8 to 9.
- Base stats changed from 5/4 to 5/5
- Deep Meditation
- Effect changed to: "Flow: Costs Less. Draw 2 other spells"
- Eye of the Dragon
- Effect changed to: "Round Start: Flow: Summon a Dragonling."
Miscellaneous
⦁ The game term New used in the Back Alley Bar and Sputtering Songspinner cards refers to any card that has not been played yet
⦁ Portals exclude anything with a Play effect, including Daybreak, Nightfall, and Plunder. Solitary Monk has also been excluded for balance reasons"
⦁ Equipment cannot be silenced
⦁ Darkin Equipment can be played with spell mana like all Equipment, but the Darkin unit cannot be played using spell mana
Bug Fixes
⦁ Fixed an issue where players could win module two of The Evolution of War Tutorial without Evolving Kai’Sa.
⦁ Fixed an issue where some choice cards were missing their Targeting text.
⦁ Zilean’s Careful Preparation now displays the correct flavor text.
⦁ Fixed other minor text bugs.
⦁ Fixed a bug in which Udyr’s Stance Swap could not be played even when its mana cost was reduced to 0.
