League of Legends Spirit Blossom Event Adds Visual Novel Mode, Legends of Runeterra and Teamfight Tactics Get Additions Too

League of Legends, Legends of Runeterra, and Teamfight Tactics are all getting a new season of content dubbed Spirit Blossom.

This cross-game event kicks off today and runs until August 24, offering new anime-inspired visuals and rewards to earn. Here's everything we know.

League of Legends Spirit Blossom Details

The headline addition is a new narrative experience called Spirit Bonds, which will offer more ways to learn more about the game's roster of champions and help earn special rewards. Riot notes that the mode also takes cues from the visual novel genre.

The event also offers fresh skins for plenty of your favourite characters, while also marking the debut of Lillia, another champion joining the fray. 

The characters getting fresh anime-inspired looks are:

  • Thresh
  • Ahri
  • Teemo
  • Yasuo
  • Vayne
  • Riven
  • Cassiopeia
  • Kindred

Legends of Runeterra Spirit Blossom Details

Riot's card-battler is getting fresh cosmetics to earn via a new Event Pass, as well as new quests. Players earn petals through completing quests and racking up wins, which can be used to unlock exclusive rewards.

The Lab is also getting a new mode called Bestow. In these battles, players start with a prebuilt deck and 30 health. When a unit dies, its stats are moved to another unit in hand. Expect plenty of chaos to ensure.

Teamfight Tactics

Finally, Teamfight Tactics players can unlock new Little Legends variants for Featherknight, Hushtail and Melisma, with one-star versions up for purchase in the in-game store.
