Spider-Man

Spider-Man is considered to be the fastest character in the game. Apart from utilizing his pace and web-slinging abilities, he’s also responsible for dealing significant damage to his enemies on the battlefield.

The first ability which enables Spidey to be highly mobile in Marvel Rivals is Web-Swing, through which, he’s able to shoot multiple strands of web to maneuver across various locations on the map—comfortably and effectively. This comes in handy when he has to reposition or retreat from intensive situations on the battlefield.

Another ability that allows Peter to utilize his movement to annoy his opponents is the Thwip and Flip, where he performs a double jump to reach high peaks in the map. For characters who’re not necessarily mid-to-long ranged, Spidey can effectively disable them. Additionally, he can also annoy them this way.

Through Wall Crawl, Spider-Man can crawl onto vertical surfaces on the map. Exactly how you’d expect an actual spider to.

2. Rocket Raccoon (Strategist)

Don’t be fooled by Rocket’s height, the character can utilize his impressive mobility to support his teammates while being able to annoy his opponents.

Starting with his first ability, Jetpack Dash is pretty self-explanatory. Here, Rocket’s able to utilize his jetpack to quickly dash forward onto various locations on the map. This helps him quickly reposition to more strategic spots on the map. Additionally, he can use this trait to escape enemy attacks as well—especially when the going gets tough.

Another ability that complements his movement is the Flying Ace. While the ability isn’t exactly one where you’d see Rocket flying, it tremendously reduces his fall time, promoting aerial advantage to the character.

And like the Web Head, Rocket’s also able to move on walls to gain advantageous positions on the map.

3. Moon Knight (Duelist)

Another Duelist in the list, Moon Knight’s movement abilities allow him to change the dynamics on the battlefield. While he may not have a plethora of movement-based attributes, he’s still versatile.

The first ability to inspect here is Moonlight Hook, where the character essentially launches a grappling hook towards the chosen location. This reels Moon Knight towards the targeted area. Additionally, he can also use Night Glider, where Moon Knight’s movement essentially turns into a controlled aerial projection.

Finally, the Rising Leap, where Moon Knight can perform a double-jump to reach elevated locations on the map for strategic positioning—similar to Spider-Man, who we’ve discussed above.

4. Iron Fist (Duelist)

Iron Fist

Iron Fist is one of the most feared Duelists in Marvel Rivals. What sets him apart as a challenging opponent in the game, aside from his offensive abilities, is his speed.

To start with, let’s look at the Triple Jump, where Iron can perform three consecutive jumps to reach elevated spots on the map. Additionally, it can also help him to disrupt enemy offenses, especially ones that require precise aiming. Talking about jumping, he’s also able to vertically maneuver on irregular surfaces on the map, allowing him to gain strategic positioning or retreat if needed.

On the offensive-mobile side of things, Iron Fist comes with multiple abilities to utilize. Firstly, the Yat Jee Chung Kuen, where he can dash forward. This allows him to cover more areas in a relatively short amount of time, closing the gap between him and his enemies.

Another ability that is somewhat similar to Yat Jee is the K’un-Lun Kick. Instead of dashing forward, though, Iron can perform a powerful kick to propel forward—useful for both offensive and counter-acting enemy attacks.

Black Panther is also known as the Black Jaguar. Staying true to his name, he possesses a plethora of abilities that aid his movement and make him nearly impossible to chase or take down.

The first ability here is a crowd control one—Prowl, where Panther essentially gains a massive speed boost to close the gap between him and his opponents. Additionally, you can also use it as an escape strategy.

Talking about closing gaps, Panther’s Leap is another movement mechanic that allows the Black Jaguar to utilize his speed and close gaps between him and his enemies. Through Leap, Panther can make long jumps to cover more area in less time. Finally, we’ve got the Wall Run which is pretty self-explanatory.
