- Versatility: A Strategist should be aware of the current situation on the battlefield. While your role is fundamentally to support, be aware enough to change your role to a semi-offensive player if need be.
- Effective Healing: Be an effective healer when it comes to restoring your allies’ health. Additionally, it is vital to keep an eye on all your teammates. Many Strategists make the mistake of healing only one or two heroes.
- Crowd Control and Debuffs: As a Strategist, you have a unique combo of abilities. Besides healing, you can control the dynamics of the game as well. Make sure to utilize the crowd-control and debuff abilities where needed.

1. Luna Snow

One of her abilities, the Light & Dark Ice, allows Luna to go through dual-purpose projectiles that can not only damage the opposition but also heal her allies.
On the healing side of things, she can use Share the Stage, allowing her to deploy an idol for a selected teammate. Simply put, this Aura can heal Luna’s teammate while she’s healing other allies on the team.
When it comes to Crown Control, Luna can use Absolute Zero to ‘freeze’ her enemies temporarily, creating enough windows for her teammates to capitalize on their respective offensive strategies.
Lastly, her Ultimate, the Fate of Both Worlds, allows her to perform a 12-second dance show, which essentially creates an AoE field. It allows players to either heal themselves or enhance their damage.
2. Mantis

Talking about her healing, she can use Healing Flower to gradually increase her teammates’ health pool. Additionally, she can use an alternative ability known as Allied Inspiration, allowing her to consume a Life Orb to enhance an ally’s damage output.
Through her Spore Slumber ability, she can put her opponents to sleep for 3.5 seconds or until they take damage. Mantis can also get a damage boost, empowering her basic attacks by using Natural Anger.
Her Ultimate is kind of similar to Luna Snow in functionality, though instead of enhancing damage, Mantis’ Ult enhances her allies’ mobility and heals over time.
3. Rocket Raccoon

Repair Mode allows Rocket Raccoon to fire healing spheres that bounce on solid structures and heal nearby allies. The Jetpack Dash, as the name indicates, allows him to dash in a direction, and it's the perfect ability to get out of a sticky situation.
B.R.B., also known as Battle Rebirth Beacon, revives allies and produces armor packs and jet packs. Rocket Raccoon's team-up ability is called Ammo Invention and grants The Punisher and Winter Soldier the Infinite Ammo and Faster Firing boosts.
Cosmic Yarn Amplifier is Rocket Raccoon Ultimate, and once deployed, it gives allies a damage boost.

Talking about Dagger’s abilities, the first one is Lightforce Dagger, which is essentially a projectile that can both heal allies and damage opponents. On the healing side of things, she can use Veil of Lightforce to provide a healing field that regenerates her teammates’ health over time. Additionally, she can also opt for Dagger Storm, a healing AoE field.
When it comes to Cloak’s abilities, the first one is Darkforce Cloak, allowing the character to take their enemy into the darkness and deal consistent damage. He also has a blinding effect, which can be activated through Terror Cape.
Finally, Eternal Bond allows Cloak & Dagger to dash through the map, healing all allies and damaging opponents that come in their path.
5. Adam Warlock

From the healing side of things, he can use abilities like the Avatar Life Stream and Soul Bond to effectively increase his teammates’ health over time. A unique trait for Adam here is his ability to revive himself. Through Regenerative Cocoon, he can control his soul to maneuver to a safe spot and revive himself.
