So, what do we know about the next steps? After mostly being absent in Marvel’s Avengers, Nick Fury is returning to S.H.I.E.L.D. alongside Maria Hill, coordinating future Avengers Initiative missions. This means a major restructuring to the game’s War Table, making selecting missions easier for players.
Other improvements include plans to balance gear perks and add Units - currency for the game’s new Shipments feature - as an additional reward for certain missions . Furthermore, the developers promised stability for some of the game’s Raids, after many complaints about the recent Klaw Raid.
Marvel’s Avengers is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC. PlayStation owners get exclusive access to Spider-Man as a playable character.
