Mass Effect Legendary Edition is coming to Xbox Game Pass, specifically, Game Pass Ultimate for PC and EA Play through Game Pass for console. The move comes less than a year after the remastered trilogy released on PC and last-gen consoles in 2021 - a worthy undertaking that we enjoyed quite a bit.
EA Play is free for Game Pass subscribers and only requires you to link your Xbox and EA accounts.
As seen on the official Xbox site, Mass Effect Legendary Edition will land on Game Pass on January 6. Players will have access to the remastered versions of Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3, along with all the DLC for each game bundled into the same download.

Mass Effect Legendary Edition Joins Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Lineup
For now, Microsoft has yet to say the date when Mass Effect Legendary Edition will leave the subscription platform. While all three Mass Effect games take a fairly long time to beat, most games on the service tend to stick around for a few months.
The other games joining Mass Effect Legendary Edition on Xbox Game Pass at the same day will be Embr from Muse Games and Outer Wilds from Mobius Digital.
