Berries

The easiest way to make money is simply by collecting berries.

In the summer you'll find bushes covered in berries, collect them and sell them to a vendor.

You can sell each berry for one coin.

Usually, you'll get about 5 berries from a bush and most of the time they're in a bit cluster.

For little effort, this can be an effective strategy.

Raw Materials

Sticks and Stones are a really easy source of money early game.

You can level your Extraction Skill while collecting them.

Each is worth one coin apiece.

Though you might want to do some crafting to make some more money, check it out below.

Crafting Tools

To make some more money off of raw materials you could craft them into tools.

Later in the game, one of the most lucrative ways to make gold will be with Iron tools.

When you eventually unlock the smithy and get a Pickaxe, find out where to buy one here.

Now you can begin gathering Iron and if you have a sufficient villager you can also assign them to make the tools.

Hunting

You'll likely be hunting anyway at the beginning of your game.

Use fur, leather, etc to craft other items which can then be sold onwards.

If you have an excess of food you can also cook the meat and sell it.

Throwing Rocks

When you have a Workshop building available a simple way to get some coins is Throwing Rocks.

Throwing Rocks are crafted in sets of five from a single rock/stone,

Each sells for two coins, meaning you'll make 10 coins from a single rock.

Bear in mind they can be pretty heavy and you may become over-encumbered.

There's so much to do in Medieval Dynasty a large focus is making as much money as possible! If you're just starting out you might be wondering where to find Straw and Iron. It's a good idea to get your farm set up too, you'll need manure to plant crops and Flaxseed is a great crop to grow. There's also plenty of animals to hunt to create items, some of the most rewarding creatures being Bears and Wolves! Recruiting villagers later in the game is vital, getting a wife too and you'll need to upgrade their homes using Daub. Hopefully, Medieval Dynasty will make its way to console players too, there's plenty that could be added to the title's roadmap, maybe we'll see multiplayer in the future!.
