Breakdown
- Apex Legends fans want to see Straight Shot come back
- The shooter gave fans short bursts of fun shooting
- Fans are currently frustrated with the game's lack of variety and annoying trials
Apex Legends is still a huge multiplayer shooter but fans miss some of the game’s retired modes, like the underrated Straight Shot. This was a fan-favorite mode that forced players to think and act quickly, so it’s easy to see why fans wish it was still here.
On the game’s subreddit, user shester811 talked about how fun this mode was, claiming that they played that mode exclusively for a good amount of time. Naturally, this user is hoping that Straight Shot can eventually make its return to the game, with many in the comments agreeing.
Some fans are a bit bored with the regular play sessions in Apex Legends, which is why they would love to see the return of Straight Shot. That mode has more fast-paced gameplay, which could add some much needed variety to this popular battle royale. While fans are still enjoying the game, they would love it if more modes were available.
For those unaware, Straight Shot was a mode that had half-sized matches, only requiring 30 and lasting for 10 minutes. The short time meant that players would spend less time looting and more time trying to get kills or surviving. It was a fun mode that gave players plenty of really tense moments, hence, everyone wanting to see a return for Straight Shot.
Gamers are pretty frustrated with Apex Legends right now, as the free-to-play shooter has annoyed them with various odd decisions. Aside from removing this iconic mode, the devs have also made some of the game’s trials incredibly annoying, forcing players to be in obnoxious situations. Obviously, the shooter is too big to sink now, but fixing some of these annoying issues would make things a lot better.
Apex Legends is readily available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PC, and Nintendo Switch. This is a free-to-play shooter anyone can download and it will soon be entering Season 21, meaning more characters and events to play through.
