Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero seems to be coming out quicker than expected, with fans seething at the possibility that the game is coming out this year. While we have to wait for Bandai Namco to confirm the game’s release date, there’s a small chance that Sparking Zero will be released in 2024.
The folks at Exputer noticed that Sparking Zero was rated in Singapore with its release date slated for 2024. Game ratings usually say a lot about an upcoming game, so there is a very solid chance that the anime fighter is coming out soon.
Considering how Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero has received a steady number of trailers recently, this is all lining up. Sure, Bandai Namco has the final word and the publisher will announce the fighter when it’s ready, but everything is pointing to a 2024 release.
It’s also worth noting that Hollow Knight: Silksong was rated recently, with fans hoping that the tough metroidvania is also slated to come out this year. Unfortunately, gamers have been waiting a long time for this one and they won’t believe Silksong will come out until a release date is revealed.
As for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, fans are hyped for its release since the game is returning to the beloved and unbalanced Budokai Tenkaichi formula. FGC fans who want a deep, in-depth title should stick with FighterZ, since this looks like it’s going to be broken in all the best ways.
Long-time fans are already enjoying the fact that there are numerous iterations of Goku and Vegeta confirmed, all of whom are their own character. The same can be said for upcoming versions of Gohan, Cell, Frieza, and anyone else who has a ton of transformations. It will be even more exciting to see all of the lesser characters get Full Power Energy Wave like in the good old days.
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero looks to be coming out this year for PS5, Xbox Series, and PC.
