Pacifist Hits Max Level in Modern Warfare 3 Without Killing Anyone

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is a game where you’re expected to kill people, so seeing someone gain max level during a “pacifist run” is interesting. A player has shown that they were able to hit the game’s top level without killing a single player, which is ridiculously impressive.

Pilgore1 on the MW3 subreddit revealed that they didn’t kill anyone in the game, choosing to play defensively as a pacifist. This impressed a ton of players who often have to rely on good weapons and killing everyone to succeed.

The user did admit that they use the controversial Riot Shield in Modern Warfare 3, as it helps them stay alive while still not killing anyone. Although the player admits that they still get a ton of hate from using this “weapon,” the commenters were forgiving since this use doesn’t actively shoot anyone.

Since battles tend to be timed, we imagine that this player waited things out and used their Riot Shield to avoid damage. Pilgore1 also admits that they used various distraction weapons to get through, like EMP grenades. It’s definitely a dedicated path to choose, especially in a violent game like Call of Duty, where violence is your first and only choice.

In an age where players are relying on weapons that break the Season Meta, choosing to go a pacifist route is near unheard of, especially in Modern Warfare 3. Choosing not to kill anyone must have been difficult for this player, but the fact that they pulled through should be applauded.

Even if this is a multiplayer shooter, this amazing pacifist route shows that you can really play however you want if you’re smart and lucky enough. We don’t think that there will be a lot of other pacifist players who will get similar results, but it’s hard not to be impressed. At the least, we know they won’t be getting their account banned anytime soon.
