Palworld Arena lets you shoot your friends and their Pals later this year

Pocket Pair, Inc. has announced Palworld Arena, a new PvP mode that will finally let fellow tamers shoot each other and their Pals. This is a mode many players have been waiting for, ensuring that the survival game will be played more and more as time goes on.

According to the game’s official Twitter account, we will be getting this highly-anticipated PvP mode later this year, though no release date has been confirmed. Based on the trailer that was shown, fans will face each other in an arena where they fight each other in a no holds barred fight to the end.

Fans who are planning to step into the Palworld Arena will need to bring their strongest Pals to beat their friends, alongside whatever good weapons they might have. Either way, this looks like an insane multiplayer mode that will make fans everywhere happy, as this is the closest they will get to shooting Pokémon.

The devs at Pocket Pair, Inc. promised PvP to fans when revealing their roadmap, showing a ton of post-launch plans for their survival sim. Based on this trailer and recent updates, it looks like the devs will be keeping their promise and giving fans more content than ever before. It will be interesting to see if the devs are planning another roadmap for future DLC.

Before we got Palworld Arena, the devs unleashed the game’s first Raid battle on everyone, with the uniquely designed Bellanoir raising hell. Players had to team up and try beating this fearsome foe, which was positively received by those playing it. Fans can expect even more Raid Bosses in the future, as is the nature with these multiplayer survival sim games.

Despite losing some of its audience, Palworld is still a huge success on PC and Xbox, with millions of fans giving this game a chance. No official release date for the Palworld Arena mode has been announced, though fans can expect it sometime in 2024.
