Persona 3 Reload is a great remake but the game is missing content from previous re-releases of this JRPG classic, disappointing fans. It looks like modders are doing what Atlus won’t, as a new mod adds the female protagonist from Persona 3 Portable to Reload.

Called the “Femc-Reloaded-Project” on GitHub (via GamesRadar), this mod replaces the male character with the beloved female protagonist from Portable. The mod is limited to the model but there are some fun changes to the overall game, replacing all the blue on the screen with pink. Fans have also noticed that the mod even adds skirt physics, which is a nice attention to detail.

Since this is a mod, they couldn’t remove the male protagonist from every part of Persona 3 Reload. All of the game’s anime cutscenes will still have the blue-haired teen. Even pausing the game will bring up the trippy UI of the male protagonist, since that took a ton of work.

With rumours of Atlus re-releasing Reload as part of the Switch 2’s lineup, fans are hoping that they eventually add the female protagonist to this remake. If they don’t, this mod is the closest thing gamers will have to using this iconic character in Reload.

Rumours also claim that Atlus is adding some of the game’s missing content to Persona 3 Reload as DLC, like The Answer from FES. In case fans aren’t familiar with Persona 3 FES, The Answer was an epilogue where players controlled AIGIS. We won’t spoil anything that players are still playing Reload but, needless to say, it’s a very emotional epilogue.

Even without the new content, we still think Persona 3 Reload is a very good RPG in its own right. This is still a very meaty RPG that players will need to dedicate hours to, though the result is worth it.
