June 7, 2022: We updated the tier list to coincide with the Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl voice actors patch.

Wondering how to wavedash in Nickelodeon All Star Brawl? In platform fighters, movement is key to outplay foes and land your attacks with ease. Fortunately, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl is no different and has a shortcut that allows players to easily wavedash their way in and out of range. Here's how to wavedash in All Star Brawl.

How To Wavedash in Nickelodeon All Star Brawl

To wavedash in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, you'll need to send your character airborne with a Jump, then move in a downward direction, and press the block button. This combination of inputs will make a character airdash downwards and land immediately.

You'll have to repeat this input many times to cover more ground and successfully wavedash on platforms. Make sure that your dash still has some ground to land on, or the character will plummet faster out of the map.

Alternatively, you can move forward and press both Jump and Block simultaneously while running. This button combo allows players to wavedash immediately without any vertical movement if the situation calls for it.

Nickelodeon All Star Brawl Wavedash - Consistency Is Key

Even though Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl has an easy input for wavedash, players will need to get consistent and understand the rhythm to pull this off continuously. One wrong sequence of a wavedash will make you do a random block or airdash, which can put you in bad position and leave you open for punishment

At best, it'll be best to practice consistent wavedashing first before bringing it to actual fights.

Nickelodeon All Star Brawl Wavedash - Wavedash To Outplay Foes

Learning wavedash is a great skill to help you outplay foes in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl. In terms of speed, wavedashing outpaces regular running and other special moves designed for repositioning. Additionally, players can still attack, defend, and evade hits during a wavedash, which makes it a strong and safe option for moving around the map.

Players who don't know how to wavedash will be forced to match your pace to hit you somehow and evading their strikes through moving around can give openings to hit them instead.
