Wii Sports remains one of gaming's most iconic launch games, and Nintendo's reviving its legacy. Revealing a spiritual successor during tonight's Nintendo Direct, Nintendo Switch Sports is heading our way this Spring.
Launching on April 29, 2022, this new entry brings Tennis, Bowling, Chambara, Soccer, Badminton and Volleyball. Golf is also being worked on, though that'll arrive through a free update in Autumn. As for Soccer, that's getting a separate update to enable Joy-Con leg-strap accessory functionality this Summer.
Nintendo Switch Sports Revives Wii Sports Legacy This April
Offering both online and local multiplayer, Nintendo Switch Sports seems to support both classic Miis and new character designs. An online playtest has also been confirmed, letting players try this out for free from February 18 until February 20. You can watch this in full below:

Alongside a new Fire Emblem Warriors entry, Mario Strikers: Battle League, Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC, updates were also provided on Kirby And The Forgotten Land, Splatoon 3, Advance Wars 1+2, and plenty more.
