At this point, whenever Hello Games releases a brand new update for No Man's Sky, it somehow feels like it's Christmas time. No Man's Sky is back at it again with its fantastic free updates, with the Normandy from Mass Effect returning this time. What's more impressive is that they've also added a new cross-save feature, perfect for those who play on different consoles and want to explore space on the go with their handheld devices.

In an X post, Hello Games' Sean Murray shared a clip of the SSV Normandy SR1, perfect for Mass Effect fans and those who love No Man's Sky but missed the first expedition in the game back in 2021.

Fans are happy with the update, and many who missed the Beachhead expedition can now join again. The update also brought the enhanced edition of the game, perfect for the PS5 Pro. The PS5 Pro enhanced update comes with 8k upscaling, improved lighting, and high-quality reflections and ambient occlusions.

Cross-save will also become available in No Man's Sky. That means you can play on your console or PC and continue your gameplay on your Switch. The cross-save feature is still in beta, and players can participate in the beta test. Hello Games confirmed that the cross-save feature will eventually become available to all players.
