If you've started the game, our Honkai Star Rail Bronya build should help you out. Honkai Star Rail re-introduces an alternate universe version of Bronya from Honkai Impact 3rd. She can easily become one of the best supports in your arsenal if you pick the right items on her.
When you build Bronya, energy restoration is what you should be looking to maximise, as she is an energy-hungry unit and it can be difficult to maintain ability uptime. If you do get the right build going, she can offer tons of utility for your entire team and maximise your damage output.
The best Honkai Star Rail Bronya build
The following build is for Bronya. You can find more Honkai Star Rail builds on our dedicated hub page.
Best Light Cone for Bronya
Like all other five-stars in the game, Bronya comes with her best-in-slot Light Cone, which you should be using if you get lucky with your rolls. The Battle Isn’t Over is her signature Light Cone, and it is designed to boost her energy restoration rate.
The Battle Isn’t Over
Increases the wearer's Energy Regeneration Rate by 8% and regenerates one Skill Point when the wearer uses their Ultimate on an ally. This effect can be triggered after every two uses of the wearer's Ultimate. When the wearer uses their Skill, the next ally taking action deals 30% more DMG for one turn(s).
It can be a little difficult to obtain her five-star Light Cone, and if you have no plans of pulling for The Battle Isn’t Over, consider going for any Light Cone that offers energy restoration. Do note that you need to use a Light Cone from the Harmony path to align it with Bronya and take advantage of Light Cone passives.
Best Relics for Bronya
Bronya is a Wind user, and she requires high energy restoration to be effective. There is only one set that fulfils both roles. You are essentially restricted to the Eagle of Twilight Line relic set, and nothing else even comes close.
Eagle of Twilight Line
2-Piece Bonus: Increases Wind DMG by 10%.
4-Piece Bonus: After the wearer uses Ultimate, their action is Advanced Forward by 25%.
Until you gain access to the five-star variant of the relic set, you can consider using the four-star variant of the same set instead, as it drops from bosses very consistently.
What are Bronya’s abilities?
Skill | Description |
---|---|

Ultimate | Dispels a debuff from a single ally, Advances Forward their actions by 100% and increases their DMG by 36/72/79% for 1 turn(s). |
Talent | After using her Basic ATK, Bronya's next action will be Advanced Forward by 15/30/33%. |

Bronya can dispel debuffs, and also provides defensive and offensive buffs to allies. Her personal damage output is not the best, but that is compensated by her extremely potent support capabilities.
What are Bronya’s Eidolons?

Level 6 | The ally DMG Boost effect of Bronya's Skill extends its duration by 1 turn(s). |
Eidolons work similarly to Constellations in Genshin Impact. Bronya’s Eidolons are extremely powerful but they are absolutely not worth going for if you are free-to-play and want a diverse cast of characters. The only problem with going for Bronya’s Eidolons is that she is in the Standard banner, and does not have a rate-up like limited characters. You need to get quite lucky to get just one copy of her, and going for multiple copies will drain your Stellar Jade reserves.

If you are willing to spend money on the game, her second Eidolon is a great stopping point. The 30% SPD bonus is great to have at any party. At max Eidolons, Broya’s damage buffs get even more ridiculous, and her skill levels also get a massive bump.
Bronya is not only the best support in Honkai Star Rail at launch, but she is also quite possibly the best character you can get. Her buffs are incredibly easy to proc and the ability to advance actions for any ally gives you full control of the battlefield. Some players even recommend rerolling for her due to how powerful she is.
How to get Bronya in Honkai Star Rail
Honkai is a wind-based hero with a five-star rarity. You can only get them through the Character Event Warp, Departure Warp, and Stellar Warp. You will, unfortunately, have to use your rail passes quite a lot to get her if you don't already.
