Ministry of Education Quiz Answers
Q1. Which are there more of, prime numbers or natural numbers?
Answer: The same
Explanation: There are infinite prime numbers and natural numbers.
Q2. The Limesteins have a large parking lot filled with 42 cars. One day, a thief stole wheels from several cars. Now, several cars only have three wheels left. While appraising damages, the insurer bent down and counted a total of 154 wheels across the lot. How many cards had their wheels stolen?
Answer: 14
Explanation: Cars have four wheels each so 42 cars have 168 wheels (42x4). Since the insurer found 154 wheels in the lot, there are 14 missing wheels.
Q3. One and only one of the following options is correct. Please make your choice.
Answer: Option 3 is incorrect
Explanation: There are four statements presented to you in this question. The statements other than “Option 3 is incorrect” support each other, and the question clearly states that only one of the options is correct making it easy for us to eliminate all three options.
Q4. 58 is the First Snow, and the First Snow is 0. 39 is Summershade Bamboo, and Summershade Bamboo is 14. 99 is Ball Peony, and Ball Peony is 8. 27 is Sunflower, and Sunflower is 4. How much does First Snow, Summershade Bamboo, Ball Peony, and Sunflower added together make?
Answer: 162
Explanation: Each of the names represents a number and the term “is” represents a multiplication of four. There is a Hoyolab community post with a mathematical breakdown of the answer if you want to check it out.
Q5. The Limesteins’ wheel thief was apprehended, with the guards taking in three suspects: Jack, Chris, and Eric. The three argued, with Jack blurting: “Chris is the one who stole the wheels!” The quick-witted Gepard quickly found the culprit. To test his aide, Gepard said cryptically without revealing the thief: “How strange. Of the three, only the thief did not lie.” Who was the thief that stole the Limesteins’ wheels?
Answer: Eric
Explanation: This puzzle is similar to the Day 3 question. If Jack is telling the truth, it makes both Jack and Chris the thieves in this situation which is impossible. If Chris is the thief, both Jack and Eric would be telling the truth, which is also impossible. This leaves us with Eric as the only correct option.
