Looking for a Honkai Star Rail Pela build? Pela, also sometimes known by her full name Pelageya Sergeyvna, is an Intelligence Officer who wields the Ice element. We were able to toy around with her in the pre-release version of the game during patch 0.60 and, at launch, she's widely considered to be one of the most well-rounded 4-star units available out of the gate.
If you build her right, Pela is capable of dealing decent Ice damage. But where she truly shines is her debuff and crowd control. She can freeze enemies and reduce enemy defense, which allows your entire team to deal more damage with a reduced risk of counter-attacks.
If you have been enjoying Honkai Star Rail, be sure to check out our Honkai Star Rail Silver Wolf build in case you want to pull for her. We also have a list of Honkai Star Rail codes that you can redeem for Stellar Jades.
How to get Pela in Honkai Star Rail
You can pull for Pela in any of the Honkai Star Rail banners. Being a non-limited four-star unit, she's available in every single one of them. Maybe hold out if you want extra copies, though. There's a chance she'll be rate-up with others in time.
The best Honkai Star Rail Pela build
The following build is for Pela. You can find more Honkai Star Rail builds on our dedicated hub page.
Best light cone for Pela
There are two great light cone options for Pela.
Void: Increases Effect Hit Rate of its wearer by 20%.
Good Night and Sleep Well: For every debuff the target enemy has, the DMG dealt by the wearer increases by 12%, stacking up to three time(s). This effect also applies to DoT.
If you can get your hands on Good Night and Sleep Well it will be your best option, as it was specifically designed for her. You can use other light cones, but it needs to be part of The Nihility path for maximum effectiveness.
Best relics for Pela
We recommend using either Hunter of Glacial Forest or Thief of Shooting Meteor if you want to maximise Pela’s effectiveness.
Hunter of Glacial Forest
- Two-piece bonus: Increases Ice DMG by 10%.
- Four-piece bonus: After the wearer unleashes their Ultimate, their CRIT DMG increases by 25% for two turn(s).
Thief of Shooting Meteor
- Two-piece bonus: Increases Break effect by 20%
- Four-piece bonus: Increases the wearer’s break effect by 20%. The wearer regenerates three energy when they inflict Weakness Break on an enemy
When farming for relics, make sure that you focus on optimising Pela’s damage and Break as much as possible. For your main stats, we recommend going for Crit Rate, Crit Damage, Speed, Energy Regeneration, and Ice Damage Increase.
For your sub-stats, you should try to get as much Speed and Break as you can, while maintaining a great balance between Attack, Crit Rate, and Crit Damage.
What are Pela’s abilities?
Skill | Description |
---|---|
Basic Attack | Deals Ice DMG equal to 50/100/110% of Pela's ATK as to a single enemy |
Skill | Removes 1 buff(s) and deals Ice DMG equal to 120/240/264% of Pela's ATK to a single enemy. |
Ultimate | Deals Ice DMG equal to 84/140/151% of Pela's ATK to all enemies, with a base chance of 100% to inflict the Exposed status. Exposed enemies have their DEF reduced by 33/42/43% for 2 turn(s). |
Talent | If Pela's attack inflicts a debuff on the enemy, she additionally gains 5/10/11 Energy. |
Technique | Immediately attacks the enemy. Upon entering battle, Pela deals Ice DMG equal to 80% of her ATK to a random enemy, with a 100% base chance of lowering the DEF of all enemies by 20% for 2 turn(s). |

Pela is capable of dishing out tons of ice damage, and her debuffing capabilities are also great. If you are looking for reliable 4-star units, Pela is definitely one of them, because she can apply Weakness and reduce incoming damage while also increasing your own damage by reducing enemy defences.

Do not let her rarity fool you as, her kit can be viable even in harder content. You can use her as a sub-DPS/support, but using her as an on-field carry is not recommended. You should try to pair her with a solid DPS unit and a couple of other supports for maximum effectiveness.
What are Pela’s Eidolons?
The Eidolon system in Honkai Star Rail works similarly to Genshin Impact’s Constellations. Additional copies of a character allow you to boost your character’s damage output or utility up to six times. You need a total of seven copies of a character to fully maximise your character’s potential.
Eidolons are not worth investing in if you are free-to-play or a low-spender. Diversifying your roster with more characters instead of investing heavily into just one character will pay off better in the long run.
Eidolon Level | Effect |
---|---|
Level 1 | When an enemy is defeated. Pela regenerates 5 Energy. |
Level 2 | After using Pela's Skill to remove an enemy buff, her SPD increases by 10% for 2 turn(s). |
Level 3 | Skill Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Basic ATK Lv. +1. up to a maximum of Lv. 10. |
Level 4 | After Pela uses her Ultimate, all enemies receive 50% more Toughness DMG from corresponding Types for 2 turn(s). |
Level 5 | Ultimate Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. Talent Lv. +2, up to a maximum of Lv. 15. |
Level 6 | When Pela attacks a debuffed enemy, she deals additional Ice DMG equal to 80% of Pela's ATK to the enemy. |
