It doesn’t matter when you do this. Whether you make your account first and tie a device to it later, or set them both up at the same time, you’ll get your Night Cap Pikachu as soon as both conditions are met.

What does Night Cap Pikachu do in Pokemon Sleep?

Night Cap Pikachu fills the final sixth slot of your Pokemon Sleep team, giving you a way to procure even more berries and items with each snooze, speeding up progress in-game.

How to level up Night Cap Pikachu in Pokemon Sleep

Night Cap Pikachu will only gain experience and level up with each use of the Pokemon Go Plus Plus device in Pokemon Sleep. If you register a sleep cycle without the device connected, Night Cap Pikachu won’t earn any experience for that snooze.
