The latest Overwatch 2 PvP beta is here, but not everyone can join in. Fret not if you don’t receive an invitation this time around, though. Activision promised more Overwatch 2 betas in the future, and not just on PC either. Keep checking your inboxes, as Activision said more invitations will be rolling out starting June 28.

But before that, you’ll need to check if your PC can run the game properly. Blizzard suggested that players should make sure their drivers are up to date to ensure the best performance. They have also noted that any requirements may change before the full release of the game. This guide explains everything to expect from the first Overwatch 2 beta on top of requirements, including start times, available countries, and how to get access to the beta.

If you’re after more Overwatch, catch up on what to expect from from Doomfist's changes in the upcoming game and why one of Overwatch's most well-known streamers won't be around to experience it.

When Is the Overwatch 2 PvP Beta?

The latest Overwatch 2 PvP beta is live now and runs through July 18, having started on June 28. That's almost a month worth of early access to test out the game and get a feel for the new maps and gameplay.

It's unclear whether there will be another Overwatch 2 beta after this. Considering the gap between this one ending and the game's launch is just a few months, it seems unlikely.

How To Sign Up for Overwatch 2 Beta

Sign-ups for this Overwatch 2 beta have sadly now closed. You were previously able to sign up here for a chance to be chosen, but this is completely random and has no guarantees.

Previous Overwatch 2 betas had a way to guarantee your place. Blizzard ran an Overwatch 2 Beta Twitch Drop campaign for the April beta, asking that you watch at least four hours of Twitch Overwatch 2 footage from any of these officially linked streamers. If you watched them for a while and you were guaranteed to get a beta code, so double check your emails.
