Atlus announced Persona 4 Arena Ultimax for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam during The Game Awards 2021. P4 Arena Ultimax is a sequel to both Persona 4 and Persona 3 that first released on PlayStation 3. It brings the two casts together for both a new gameplay experience and a story considered official in the Persona timeline.

As the name suggests, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is a fighting game where characters from both teams pummel each other endlessly, but there's a reason for it.

The version launching in 2022 is based on the arcade version that never released in the West. Steam pre-orders will open soon, but meanwhile, check out the trailer below.
