Persona Team creative director and producer Kazuhisa Wada has suggested that The Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Remaster could receive rollback netcode after the game's launch. The news comes via an interview in this week's Famitsu magazine, as translated by Persona Central. Wada confirmed that rollback netcode will not be available for the game's release, on March 2022. This development has left many fans somewhat unsatisfied since the feature would allow players to enjoy a better online multiplayer experience.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Rollback Netcode Could Arrive With Remastered Re-Release
While rollback netcode is not coming at launch, the developers have confirmed that this re-release of the game will be the final version of Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. As such, this definitive edition of the game will come with all previously released Persona 4 Arena Ultimax content, including the original P4A story and much more besides.
The team has also confirmed that the game would release with “Shadow” versions of characters which offer a range of different fighting styles to choose from.
