Following its original announcement in March 2021, Electronic Arts (EA) has remained tight-lipped surrounding the launch of EA Sports PGA Tour.
The game is EA's first golf game since launching Rory McIlroy PGA Tour in 2015 and with interest in the genre slowly growing, expectations of players is high. The game will be the only one to feature all four Major tournaments on the golfing calendar.
Unfortunately, for those awaiting more information on PGA Tour, the publisher has announced the release of the game has been delayed until Spring 2023.
EA Sports PGA Tour Delay
Details on EA’s new PGA Tour have been fairly slim, though fans are hoping it will be an improvement over the solid PGA Tour 2K21 entry from 2K Games. Fans continue to enjoy what's on offer within the 2020 golf simulator and with EA Sports taking the reigns once again, many are hoping for a wealth of improvements in addition to a new level of realism thanks to the current generation of consoles and PC hardware.
The exact reasoning behind the delay is unknown, much to the confusion of players. Alongside the four Majors, the announcement also confirmed the game will feature LPGA players and the Amundie Evian Championship.

EA Sports PGA Tour Release Date
Other than a "Spring 2023" release window, EA Sports hasn't revealed an exact release date. Some are suggesting that it will launch before the 2023 US Masters takes place at the beginning of April, so a March release could be on the scorecards.
