How to get Mantine in Pokemon Go
Players can catch Mantine as a wild encounter in Pokemon Go. Though it can be featured in events like Sizeable Surprises, missing out on such an occasion doesn’t mean you won’t be able to add the Water/Flying-type Pokemon to your team.
Mantine can normally be found near the sea. But if you don’t live near any bodies of water, try to go Mantine hunting during rainy or windy weather to give it a higher chance of spawning.
Another way of acquiring Mantine would be to evolve a Mantyke. To do this, start catching some Mantyke and feed the one you wish to evolve 50 Mantyke candy.
Can Mantine be shiny in Pokemon Go?
Yes, shiny Mantine is available in Pokemon Go. But just like other shiny Pokemon, finding a Mantine with an altered colour scheme requires some luck. Shiny Mantine was added to Pokemon Go in 2022.
You can tell that a Mantine is shiny by taking a quick look at its body. The top part of Mantine including its antennae will be a brighter shade of blue while the bottom portion along with its face will be light blue instead of white.
