Pokémon Legends: Arceus received a substantial “Daybreak” update after yesterday’s Pokémon Presents, adding a number of post-game missions for players to partake in. Furthermore, a free code for the game’s Mystery Gift function was also revealed, letting players catch more of these adorably dangerous creatures.
The Daybreak update adds a new investigation revolving around “mass outbreaks” of Pokémon like Arcanine, Electrode, and more. It’s up to players to solve what is causing these mass outbreaks of Pokémon in the area, with help from the various NPCs that appeared in Pokémon Legends: Arceus.

Pokémon Legends: Arceus Daybreak Update Available Now, Adds Post-Game Missions and More Trainer Battles
Along with the mass outbreaks, which means more opportunities to catch Pokémon, the Daybreak update will also include more trainer battles to participate in. Many players felt that Pokémon Legends: Arceus was lacking in trainer battles due to the focus on exploration and catching monsters, so this should satisfy that need.
Finally, players can gain 30 Ultra Balls, 30 Gigaton Balls, and 30 Jet Balls with the code ARCEUSADVENTURE. Simply go to Mystery Gift in the menu and input the code to receive these extra Poké Balls. Keep in mind that Mystery Gift won’t be unlocked until after you’ve made some progress in the story.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is available now on Nintendo Switch. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet were also announced during Pokémon Presents, slated for release later this year.
