When Is The New Pokemon Snap Switch Release Date?

Last year, Pokemon announced that a brand new Pokemon Snap game would be coming to the Nintendo Switch.

With a year passing and relatively little information, Nintendo has spilt the beans on what's next for budding photographers.

So when can you expect to relive this classic adventure in a brand new way?

New Pokemon Snap Release Date

The next Pokemon Snap game is due to release on the 30th April 2021!

After having little to talk about since its announcement early last year, finally, we've got a concrete date.

In New Pokemon Snap, you'll be exploring the Lental Region, whose islands hold everything from dense jungles to vast deserts.

Throughout this archipelago, you’ll photograph untouched nature and plenty of wild Pokémon that thrive in Lental’s natural expanses.

Pokémon and vegetation in Lental have sometimes been seen to glow. This is known as the Illumina phenomenon, which is unique to the Lental region in New Pokémon Snap.

At the request of Lental’s own Professor Mirror, you’ll venture from island to island on an ecological survey, floating safely along in your trusty pod, the NEO-ONE, as you photograph Lental Pokémon and their habitats to uncover the truth behind the Illumina phenomenon.
