PlayStation Plus (commonly referred to as PS Plus or PS+) is Sony PlayStation's subscription service, primarily used to access online gaming.
However, there are plenty more benefits on top, including two free games every month, exclusive PlayStation Store discounts, and 100GB of cloud storage for game saves.
It also allows Share Play, which means people can invite friends to their game even if their friend doesn't own a copy.
How much does PlayStation Plus cost?
You can join PS Plus on a one, three or 12-month recurring payment plan, with costs ranging from as little as £6.99 for one month, up to £49.99 for the yearly option.
Does PS Plus carry over to PS5?
Yes, to put it bluntly.
Your PS Plus account is bound to your PSN account, so it carries over and doesn't matter which device you are using.
From the moment we booted up the PS5 and synced our account we were able to start downloading our existing PS Plus titles and the new PS Plus games for November 2020.
We were also able to start downloading the PlayStation Plus Collection, an added PS Plus incentive for PS5 owners.
Essentially it's a selection of 20 PS4 games which are available to download and keep at no cost on PS5.
Below is a list of every PS4 game included in the PS Plus Collection on PS5.
It's possible the PS Plus Collection could change or be added to in the future, so be sure to look out for updates.
