Insomniac Games may have only just shipping Spider-Man: Miles Morales, but the studio surprised everyone with Ratchet and Clank's PS5 debut coming in 2021.

The action-platformer looks better than ever, and it'll take full advantage of the PS5's lightning-fast SSD storage, too.

Insomniac has announced that the day one patch for the game will have a 60 FPS Performance mode and a 60 FPS Performance mode with Ray-Tracing enabled.

Price and Editions

Rift Apart will come in Standard and Digital Deluxe Editions, according to the PlayStation Blog. The standard edition costs £69.99, while the Digital Deluxe Edition costs £79.99.

The latter includes the game, five armour sets, a photo mode sticker pack, in-game upgrade materials and digital soundtrack and art book.

Whichever version you buy, pre-ordering will net players the Carbonox armour from Going Commando, and Pixelizer weapon from the 2016 reboot.

Features

As the third entry into the family-friendly series, players will now be armed with weapons that turn enemies into plants, chuck bombs, and much more.

The game sees players surf through different dimensions instantaneously - no doubt thanks to the PS5's impressive SSD.

The game's soundtrack will be composed by DEVO's Mark Motherbaugh, as well as revealing the pre-order bonuses for the game's digital deluxe edition.
