Looking to find out how the Rocket League Sideswipe ranks system works? As with the original version of the fast and furious football game, the new mobile spin-off also features its very own ranking system, letting players battle it out for soccer supremacy in the holy arena of car and ball. Sideswipe might be a more casual game, but that doesn't mean you can't take it seriously, too.
There are a number of Rocket League Sideswipe ranks, ranging from lowly Bronze to the not-at-all OTT Grand Champion, and you can earn these by playing matches and winning. By the same token, losing matches will cause you to get demoted in both division and rank.
So, if you're looking to play the Rocket League Sideswipe ranks and fight your way up the ladder, we've got all the details you'll need. If you're also playing the original game, why not grab yourself some freebies in the form of Rocket League codes while you're at it? Or perhaps you want to learn how to perform a Rocket League Sideswipe air roll instead?
How Rocket League Sideswipe Ranks Work
There are three modes in Rocket League Sideswipe: 1v1 Duel, 2v2 Doubles, and 2v2 Hoops. You can rank competitively in any of these modes: all you need to do is win a game. When you win your first match, you'll enter division I of the Bronze tier, which is the lowest overall. Once you win four matches, you'll advance into the next division. Here is every available tier:
- Bronze
- Silver
- Gold
- Platinum
- Diamond
- Champion
- Grand Champion
And here is the division structure for each of these tiers:
- Division I
- Division II
- Division III
- Division IV
- Division V
How to Increase Rocket League Sideswipe Rank
It's pretty simple to gain Rocket League Sideswipe ranks: you just have to win games. Each individual division requires you to win three, with a fourth advancing you into the next. This means that to get into the overall top tier and division, you'd have to win 105 games without losing any.
Unless you are some kind of Rocket League prodigy, this seems unlikely, so you'll probably have to play a lot more if you want the top rank. Still, it's a lot easier to gain ranks in Rocket League Sideswipe than the main game, due to the simpler gameplay, and the fact that a lot more people are playing casually.
And that's what you need to know about Rocket League Sideswipe ranks. Good luck climbing the ladder!
