Rocket League Mobile has finally been confirmed by Epic and Psyonix in the form of Rocket League Sideswipe.

Rocket League Sideswipe will be a new game, but will take many of the core and fun aspects of the original game to mobile platforms with a 2D setup.

Players have been begging for the vehicular soccer video game to be ported to iOS and Android.

Now it looks like the team behind it all are finally ready to make the leap.

Here's what you need to know about Rocket League Sideswipe.

Release Date

A release date has yet to be confirmed, but it is releasing later this year in 2021.

Given how far along it seems, we wouldn't be surprised to see it by late summer-early fall.

What Is Rocket League Sideswipe?

Players compete from a side-on perspective on the field in 1v1 or 2v2 matches.

Games will be fast-paced, 2-minute matches that you can play with friends near or far thanks to online play.
