It wouldn't be Rocket League without a new Batmobile coming our way. Following the DC-inspired Haunted Hallows event last Halloween, Psyonix has revealed a brand new tie-in based around the Gotham superhero's upcoming movie, The Batman.
Seeing the Bat-Signal shine over Beckwith Park, this latest update adds our fourth Batmobile into the game, based on the upcoming movie. Costing 1100 credits, that features "an American-muscle-inspired body, screen-accurate Paint Finishes, and a Goal Explosion utilizing the Dark Knight’s newest symbol."
Rocket League Introduces The Batman Bundle, Featuring 2022's Batmobile
So, what can fans expect? Psyonix confirmed these items are available within The Batman bundle.
- Batmobile (2022) Body (Dominus Hitbox)
- Batmobile (2022) Engine Audio
- Dark Knight Matte Paint Finish
- Batmobile (2022) Wheels
- Batmobile (2022) Boost
- Batmobile (2022) Trail
- Reel Life Decal
- The Batman Goal Explosion
That's not all, either. Gotham City Rumble is back as a limited-time mode, previously seen during Haunted Hallows. Giving temporary item themes based on Batman and his foes, Gotham City Rumble and The Batman bundle are both available now until March 9, 2022 at 2AM UTC.
This event follows the NFL Fan Pass last month, which coincided with Super Bowl LVI, and a Neon Nights event based on musical artist Grimes. Rocket League is available now as a free-to-play game on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, alongside PS5 and Xbox Series X|S via backwards compatibility.
