Second Extinction: Is It Coming To PS4 and PS5?

Second Extinction, Systemic Reaction's dinosaur shooter, is out now in early access for PC players.

While we know it'll eventually come to Xbox, we have no idea if it'll come to PS5 – or even PS4.

Here's all we know so far.

Originally unveiled at an Inside Xbox event we unfortunately have no idea yet if it'll come to any non-Microsoft platforms.

It's also not expected on Xbox until 2021, with the developer suggesting "more to come" next year.

While we've taken that to mean Xbox, could it also hint at other platforms? Time will tell.

So why the excitement?

According to the Xbox store page:

"Second Extinction is an intense 3 player cooperative shooter, where your goal is to wipe out the mutated dinosaurs that have taken over the planet. Teamwork is vital as you adopt the role of one of the survivors, using a unique combination of weapons, abilities and skills to take on the vast number of enemies."

"Fight through a maelstrom of bullets, bombs, teeth, claws and gore, it's up to you to reclaim Earth!"
