After the record-breaking success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland has been called to host the Oscars. Coming to us from The Hollywood Reporter, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has reportedly reached out to the 25-year old British actor.
The Academy has reached out to Spider-Man himself to host the 94th Academy Awards. This year’s Oscars marks the first time the ceremony's a host since 2018. The 91st Oscars was supposed to have an entertainer in Kevin Hart but, that eventually fell through.

Tom Holland Is in Talks To Host the Oscars
The Oscars has seen diminishing viewership numbers over the last few years, with viewing ratings reaching 10.4 million last year - a record low for Hollywood’s biggest celebration (via Deadline).
With Spider-Man: No Way Home breaking into the top 10 biggest films ever, the Academy is looking to capitalise on the hype. Having the film’s leading actor take on moderating duties might be a way to oppose these diminishing figures
Nothing's set in stone at the moment, so we’ll await confirmation on whether Holland will accept hosting duties.
No Way Home could even make an appearance at the ceremony, as Sony is pushing the film for multiple Oscar nominations including Best Picture.
