Splitgate Beta Season 1 Confirmed Content

Two new game modes will be added to Splitgate once Beta Season 1 arrives. These are:

  • Evolution - an elimination game mode that upgrades the losing team's loadouts in the later rounds.
  • One Flag Capture-the-Flag - teams fight to capture the target flag and take it back to their base.

The season will introduce a custom map editor, which, similar to Halo Forge, gives players the chance to create their own maps alone or with others. 1047 co-founder Ian Proulx said this feature will "continue to evolve alongside the rest of the game."

Expect more tweaks and add-ons as time goes by, but to start with, you'll have control over spawn points, weapons, blocks, portal walls, and more.
