Motive said there wouldn’t be any post-launch content coming to Star Wars: Squadrons, but Baby Yoda’s power is immeasurable.

With season two of The Mandalorian kicking off on Disney+ Friday, October 30, the new Star Wars space-combat sim is getting a small update to mark the occasion.

“We’ve worked with Lucasfilm to bring a few Mando-themed goodies to Star Wars: Squadrons,” Motive said in a new blog post. “The Mandalorian is something that has often been a source of inspiration for us due to its close proximity to our game’s timeline, so it only felt natural to pay homage to it.”

In addition to the obligatory Baby Yoda dash ornament, players will also be able to unlock an IG-series assassin droid, a Beskar ingot, a Razor Crest starship ornament, and holograms of a blurrg and a bounty puck.

“Paying homage to the iconic character, we’ve made sure to create this wonderful new dashboard decoration based on a ‘Mysterious Creature.’ This figure can adorn any dashboard across the New Republic’s starfighters, meaning the fan-favorite Tuggtar bobblehead now has a rival,” the developer writes.

“Both factions will receive one hologram, one decal, one dashboard flair, and one hanging flair, meaning eight new cosmetics in total for you to unlock.”

This new themed “supply drop” hits Squadrons on Wednesday, October 28, adding eight new cosmetics for players to earn using in-game “Glory” points.

Let’s hope this isn’t the last surprise content drop for Squadrons.
