EA earlier announced that Respawn Entertainment are working on three new Star Wars games, but as a consequence, DICE's rumoured Star Wars: Battlefront 3 has reportedly been cancelled.
New reports from VentureBeat claim that EA shifting the Star Wars games to Respawn is a sign of the end of their licensing deal. DICE, who worked on two Star Wars: Battlefront games for EA, is now focused on the Battlefield franchise. Beyond EA, Ubisoft and Quantum Dream have previously announce new games for the series.

Star Wars Battlefront 3 Reportedly Cancelled by EA
EA's Battlefront games saw significant criticism between them. Many criticized the first entry for an expensive Season Pass, while Battlefront 2 was riddled with controversy over character costs and loot boxes. However, fan reception for Battlefront 2 has significantly improved since launch, following numerous updates.
There's no word on when Respawn's new Star Wars games are coming out, though rumours suggest Jedi: Fallen Order 2 could arrive later this year. In the meantime, Star Wars Battlefront II is available now on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
