Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order 2 rumors have swirled around almost since the original game released, and GamesBeat's Jeff Grubb just added a big one to the pile. In a recent episode of his Grubbsnax podcast (thanks Nibel), he said fans should "expect to hear about the game in a significant way before E3." This was before the ESA said there may not be an E3 2022, but the general timing remains the same.
The "significant way" is likely a trailer and big reveal. Grubb believes the game could launch late in 2022, though it's possible we'll see a launch sometime in 2023, he said.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order 2 Could Release As Early As This Year
The original Jedi: Fallen Order takes place between Star Wars Episodes III and IV, and while there's not much room for shocks and plot twists, it still ended on a fairly open note. Vader remains at large, obviously, and the Inquisition continues to persecute the few remaining Jedi, while hero Cal Kestis sets off to skies unknown for further adventures.
If you've not experienced it yet, Fallen Order is free as part of Amazon's Prime Games program and recently benefited from a next-gen upgrade on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
