Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic has received a new update on Nintendo Switch that enables cheat codes, letting anyone breeze their way through the RPG. Most fans expected the latest update to fix the giant text box that appears during combat, so being able to use cheat codes for this classic RPG was a nice surprise.
Reddit user u/pipo198 (thanks Nintendo Life), discovered this new cheat menu, and to access it, players have to press down on the left analog stick three times to access it. These cheat codes players include having feats, force powers, skills, and experience points early for those that want to make their character overpowered.

Players can also make the game’s speed faster and even spawn items to get them out of trouble, assuming that the overpowered stats aren’t enough to help out. You can see these in action below:
Unfortunately, the text box issue remains in Knights of the Old Republic, though the developers have made it smaller than before. We’re not sure if this will get further fixes at this point, but it doesn’t make the game unplayable.
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is available on Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices. An upcoming Knights of the Old Republic remake is also coming to PS5 and PC in the future.
