With the StarCraft 2 Summer Masters I creeping ever closer, we are now able to reveal the official groups for this weekend.
The 8 players will be appropriately divided into two groups of four, with each player required to play a minimum of two games.
Upon the conclusion of group play, the Top 2 placing players will automatically progress into the single elimination bracket, while the bottom two players will be eliminated from the competition.
The prize pool will be broken down as followed:
1st: $5,000
2nd: 3,000
3rd/4th: 1,000
All group matches will consist of a best-of-three series, while the semi-finals will consist of a best-of-five series and the StarCraft 2 Summer Masters I will consist of a best-of-seven series.
The StarCraft 2 Summer Masters is scheduled to kick off at 2pm BST on Saturday 8th August. You'll be able to catch the entirety of the Summer Masters via Gfinity Live TV.
