It looks like Bethesda and Microsoft’s prized science-fiction RPG is finally making its debut on PlayStation 5 consoles soon, as players spotted an odd logo resembling PlayStation in the game’s Creation Hub.
A Reddit user named u/Dollar99Man discovered it first on Starfield’s subreddit, noting that the logo appears on only one creation—hinting that they could be Beta Testers. You can check the Creation Hub here for more details. Its decals are apparently labeled as a ‘Work in Progress,’ which supports the idea that this is still in the early stages.
Either way, news of Starfield heading to PlayStation 5 seems inevitable. There have been multiple reports since Microsoft announced it’s bridging the gap between its console exclusives and other platforms, namely Sony’s PlayStation 5.
Fans have been anticipating this move, especially with Forza Horizon 5, a premier Microsoft product, also coming to the PlayStation 5. It’s about time Bethesda followed suit by porting their beloved RPG to Sony’s flagship console.
Comments on the Reddit post also suggest that the PlayStation 5 version might arrive sooner rather than later. However, some players have expressed concerns about cross-save functionality, as Xbox Series X|S players hope to migrate to PlayStation 5 and continue their journey.
Of course, this could simply be a coincidence, with a random user adding the PlayStation logo to their Creation Hub, or perhaps a developer experimenting with features. Nonetheless, the presence of the PlayStation logo raises speculation.
There’s no definitive confirmation yet, so take everything with a pinch of salt. However, it seems increasingly likely that an announcement is coming soon.
